CJ Thoroughbreds Holds Close Ties to 1-2 Finishers for MSW at Lone Star Park (6/16)

Bling Dancer, winner of a maiden special weight race at Lone Star Park on June 16, was bred and sold by CJ Thoroughbreds. Trained by Steve Asmussen, Bling Dancer, out of the Uncle Mo mare Love This Dance, is owned by his father Keith and Erv Woolsey, longtime manager of George Strait. All American Lady was second in the race(R4). She was also sold by CJ Thoroughbreds.

Love This Dance recently foaled a Jimmy Creed filly in Sheridan, Wyoming. The filly is an accredited Wyoming-bred.

“CJ Thoroughbreds is developing a successful breeding and sales operation,” said President Corey Johnsen. “We thank the Asmussen family for their support of our program and wish them all the best with Bling Dancer. CJ Thoroughbreds also bred Vietnam Victory, winner of the 2022 Texas Thoroughbred Association Futurity at Lone Star Park.
